Britt & Tori - Business Chicks 415km Cambodia Cycle Challenge
Story
Somaly Mam is a Cambodian sex trafficking victim turned vigilante, who we were introduced to when she spoke for Business Chicks last year. She is an absolutely incredible woman who's taken it upon herself to raid brothels and rescue the girls who are being tortured and abused - some are as young as three years old.
This world that Somaly escaped from is one of heartbreak, of pain, and one where physical, sexual and mental abuse still scar the lives of 2.5 million women and girls each year. But Somaly and a passionate team at charity Project Futures are determined to put an end to it.
Compelled by Somaly's work, we've decided to get involved and cycle 415km through Cambodia in February 2014, raising funds to support Somaly's cause through Project Futures - no easy feat right! And we need your help! So please dig deep and donate so that we can help put an end to global sex trafficking.

PROJECT FUTURES is a non-profit organisation run by a passionate network of young and inspiring professionals. We raise awareness and funding for programs dedicated to combat human trafficking and sexual exploitation globally. We encourage like-minded individuals to actively use their skills and talents to contribute to make a difference. The money raised contributes to the funding of rescue, recovery, education and reintegration of victims and survivors as well as advocacy for the cause.
Our Objectives:
1. The raise awareness about the issue of human trafficking and sexual exploitation through innovative activities
2. To raise funds to support anti-trafficking projects in Australia and around the world
3. To influence and empower the next generation to donate their time, skills and talents for worthy causes, which positively impact their global environment.
