HELP VICTIMS OF SEX TRAFFICKING BECOME SURVIVORS
Story
Human trafficking is the third largest and fastest growing criminal activity in the world. 79% of human trafficking victims are women and girls and also, 79% of the victims of trafficking end up in sex slavery. It is estimated that approximately 1.2 million children are trafficked domestically or across borders each year.
To help raise awarness about human trafficking and sex exploitation, Business Chicks and Future Projects have teamed up to support the Somaly Mam Foundation with a cycling challenge.
I have committed myself to a 10 day, 415 km cycle through Cambodia and your support will contribute towards making this possible.
I pledge to raise $7,000. The money I raise will benefit the Somaly Mam Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to stop sex slavery in South East Asia and empower its survivors.
I feel privileged to be taking part in such a great cause which will benefit many women and children in South East Asia. To know that I can help contribute to such a worthwhile cause is what makes it better.
The more people that are aware of the Somaly Mam Foundation, the greater the impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your family, friends and colleagues.

PROJECT FUTURES is a non-profit organisation run by a passionate network of young and inspiring professionals. We raise awareness and funding for programs dedicated to combat human trafficking and sexual exploitation globally. We encourage like-minded individuals to actively use their skills and talents to contribute to make a difference. The money raised contributes to the funding of rescue, recovery, education and reintegration of victims and survivors as well as advocacy for the cause.
Our Objectives:
1. The raise awareness about the issue of human trafficking and sexual exploitation through innovative activities
2. To raise funds to support anti-trafficking projects in Australia and around the world
3. To influence and empower the next generation to donate their time, skills and talents for worthy causes, which positively impact their global environment.
